By enrolling in courses, I am accepting the Charis Distance Education Terms of Service and Policies.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Charis Bible College admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, and sex to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or ethnicity, or sex in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, athletic, and other school-administered programs.

First-Year Program Policies

Withdrawal Policy

Before withdrawing from the First-Year Program, please review the Withdrawal and Refund Policies.

• There are no academic penalties for withdrawing. 
• If you wish to withdraw and then return later, your completed courses will remain in our system; however, please note that the promotion requirement of completing the First-Year Program within 24 months remains in effect.   
• Withdrawing from the First-Year Program does not eliminate your financial obligations to Charis Bible College, and you are responsible for any charges owed at the time you withdraw. 
• To withdraw from the First-Year Program
  • Pay in Full Plan: Contact Distance Education to process your withdrawal request.
  • Monthly Payment Plans: Log into your student account and select “Suspend” in the Subscription section to suspend your payments. Then contact Distance Education to complete your withdrawal request.

Tuition Refund Policy

• Pay in Full Plan:
  • 100% tuition refund within 7 calendar days of registration
  • 50% tuition refund between 8 and 30 calendar days from registration
  • 30% tuition refund between 31 and 60 calendar days from registration
  • No refund will be granted after 60 calendar days from registration.
• Monthly Payment Plans:
  • 100% tuition refund within 7 calendar days of registration
  • No refund will be granted after 7 calendar days from registration; however, students may suspend their recurring monthly payment at any time and then request to withdraw from the First-Year Program.

Note: For tuition refunds for a monthly payment plan, the courses listed in the Available Courses and Enrolled In (located in the My Courses section of the student account) are yours to keep.

Starter Course Refund Policy

• Tuition for Self-Paced courses is 100% refundable within one week of course enrollment provided the following conditions are met:
  • the “Download Option” page has not been accessed.
  • no more than one lesson of the course material has been accessed.
  • After one week of course enrollment, no refund will be granted.

Access to Courses

First-Year Program: Students will have access to the course material through the Online Campus Site for 26 months from the date of registration.  

Starter Courses: Students will have access to the course material through the Online Campus Site for 12 months from the date of course enrollment.  

During this time, you may download and save the course video files, audio files, and course outlines to any device that you would like. Since the Online Campus site course access expires, we recommend backing up your files as a safeguard against damage or loss. 

Currency Conversion Estimates

For the convenience of international students, an estimated price in the local currency is displayed at checkout. These are only estimates. The listed price in U.S. Dollars is what will be charged, and the actual conversion rate will be determined by the bank that issued the credit/debit card that is used.
